Design the Rainforest Partnership T-Shirt!

 Rainforest Partnership wants to wear your design!

We are looking for a stylish, rainforest-themed design for the front of our t-shirts that we can sell at SXSW and retailers around Austin in order to raise money for our projects. The shirts will be black, with our logo on the back. Please submit an image by February 25 to tees@rainforestpartnership.org in a .ai, .psd, .pdf, or .jpeg form.  The preferred format is vector based Adobe Illustrator and PDF files, but other types are acceptable. Maximum size is 12.5″ X `15.5″ Please limit your designs to 6 colors or less.

Films for the Forest 2012 film challenge has begun!

Announcing Films for the Forest

2012 Short Film Contest:

Forest ♦ Community ♦ Connection

30-300 seconds

Entries due Feb. 10th

Films for the Forest is an annual competition created and run by Rainforest Partnership. This year, the 3rd annual festival will be held during the Community Screenings at the SXSW Film Festival on March 12, 2012. Filmmakers will have three weeks to produce a short film, and winning films will be shown during the Screenings.

The Folk Music of Latin America: Chaski

Chaski is a trio based in Austin, TX that has performed and recorded Latin American folk music for more than 25  years. The group is composted of Adrienne Inglis, Shana Norton and Dan Dickey. Their performances are not only composed of traditional Latin American folk music, but also traditional instruments, attire and dances. Rainforest Partnership is happy to announce that Chaski will be performing at our celebration event: A Night in the Clouds.
