How my daily vitamin is supporting Rainforest Partnership

To start out I have to say that if I really like a product I am going to tell everyone I know about it, especially if it is health related!  On that note, I am excited that Rainforest Partnership is now a Shaklee Nonprofit PartnerShaklee is the #1 natural nutritional company in the US and they have been around for 50 years.

A good friend of mine and RP volunteer, Tiffany Harelik of Healthy Sustainability, introduced me to Shaklee a little over a year ago.  After trying a few of their products she uses on a regular basis and then reading about Shaklee’s extensive environmental commitment, I was sold!  I started out by purchasing a few products for the RP office:  the Basic H cleaner and Scour Off (smells delicious and is made with cherry pits).  These products are great for our office cleaning endeavors.  We still have half a bottle of the Basic H left because it is so concentrated that only very little is needed for each cleaning (and it’s made from coconut!).

I personally use Shaklee vitamins and skin care products, including the Firming Serum, Vitamin B, and  Vita Strips.  Both my grandma and mother are using the Joint Health Complex and Vivix.

Above all, I am proud to say that the products I use on a daily basis are raising money for RP! As a nonprofit partner with Shaklee, RP is able to earn points from the purchases our supporters make from our Shaklee site.

Please check out the RP Shaklee Site to review and/or order products and email me, maurine@rainforestpartnership.org, if you are interested in talking to Tiffany and myself more about the program.
