WHAT: MAKE A FILM IN A WEEK ! – FREE TO REGISTER AND SUBMIT

This is a film challenge for anyone who is passionate about the  environment and film-making. Anyone, anywhere can produce their own ‘GREEN‘  short-film! Registration concludes April 22^th, 2010.  There is NO CHARGE for registration or submit.  Filmmakers may register at www.rainforestpartnership.org or by emailing anna@rainforestpartnership.org. Those wishing to participate but who did not register on or before April 22nd may still submit a film until the April 29 deadline with the proper entry form.

JUDGED BY: Richard Linklater, Lisa McWilliams, Michel Scott, and Evan Smith.

TOPIC/THEME: Will be released on Earth Day (April 22) to participants via email and posted on our website for non-registered interested participants. Submission instructions will be provided at the same time including accepted formats, production guidelines, and entry form.

CATEGORIES: Public Service Announcement, Documentary/Experimental, Narrative

LENGTH: Film should be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes long. Any films not within this time limit will not be considered for awards, but may still be screened if chosen by selection committee.

PRIZE: The two winning films in each category will be screened at a May event in Austin, TX, and the winning films will receive prizes.

Rainforest Partnership presents: Films for the Forest Challenge

RP is excited to showcase films entered into our film challenge at Hot Mama’s Espresso in Austin, TX, on May 13th from 6-10pm.

Winning films will be showcased along with live music and complementary cocktails. Food will be available for purchase through Hot Mama’s.
