RP is an organization that uses a bottom-up approach and actively seeks to receive and incorporate the advice and input from all RP team members wherever they are. We are not about exclusive ownership, but about creating partnerships, leveraging resources and forwarding our collective vision and mission through collaboration with our ever-expanding circle of the RP Team. Currently we are seeking volunteers or interns with experience in the following areas:
Want to save rainforests? Have experience with website construction and design? RP is seeking talented individuals to help us.
Rainforest Partnership is seeking motivated and responsible college students or young professionals looking to gain experience working with a nonprofit over the summer. The Development & Event Planning Intern is required to have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. A potential intern should be self-motivated but also comfortable working with a team and a supervisor.
Rainforest Partnerships is currently seeking experienced writers and bloggers to produce weekly blogs about conservation topics. Possible topics include: global climate change, rainforest issues, sustainable development, community development, consumption/drivers of deforestation, and political situations of the countries in which we are working or plan to work. There are other writing opporunities at RP including developing monthly newsletters and grant proposals.
Rainforest Partnership is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to protecting tropical rainforests from deforestation in collaboration with local communities, and creating a connection between those communities and communities in the U.S. in order to raise public awareness of the role of rainforests in climate protection. While our projects are located in Peru and Ecuador, our home base is here in Austin, Texas. We are growing rapidly and rely on our network of volunteers to help carry out general day-to-day activities that allow us to operate efficiently and continue to expand our worldwide partnerships.
