Joseph and Tim arrived safely in Peru last week and after spending a couple of days in Lima, they are now in Tarapoto before beginning their journey along the Amazon. Their adventure with a mission is bringing them lots of learning opportunities about rainforests, deforestation and its causes and people living in these communities. They are now headed to spend a little time in our partner community of Chipaota from where they will begin their descent. They brought some simple gifts of soccer balls and drawing pencils to share with the kids in the community and pictures taken by Executive Director, Niyanta Spelman, during her visit in August also to share with the community.
