Forests connect all of us.
Whether you’ve volunteered with Rainforest Partnership in the past, supported our mission from afar, or are just discovering our work, you are part of a growing global community that believes forests matter—for climate, biodiversity, Indigenous communities, water systems, and the health of our shared future.
As CO-CEO of Rainforest Partnership, having stepped into this role earlier this year, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the passion and dedication that make this organization so special. Rainforest Partnership has always been powered by people who care deeply about protecting tropical forests and advancing meaningful conservation through collaboration, education, and action.
Today, I’m inviting you to join us in a special way.
Become a World Rainforest Day Ambassador
On June 22, the world will celebrate World Rainforest Day, a global awareness movement created and convened by Rainforest Partnership to inspire action and elevate the importance of protecting forests everywhere.
What began as a bold idea has grown into a global movement reaching more than 100 million people worldwide, bringing together environmental advocates, educators, organizations, creators, and individuals who believe forests deserve a stronger voice.
This year, we’re inviting our broader community to become World Rainforest Day Ambassadors.
You don’t need special expertise. You don’t need a huge platform. You simply need a willingness to help amplify the message.
What Does a World Rainforest Day Ambassador Do?
Becoming an ambassador is simple, flexible, and impactful.
1. Share World Rainforest Day on Social Media
One of the easiest ways to help is by sharing campaign messages with your community.
Hashtags:
#WorldRainforestDay
#WorldRainforestDay2026
#TheForestWithinYou
Tag: @worldrainforestday
2. Make a Video: What Does the Forest Mean to You?
Forests mean different things to different people.
For some, forests represent biodiversity and climate resilience. For others, they symbolize peace, belonging, healing, or hope.
We’d love to hear your story.
Record a short video answering this question:
“What does the forest mean to you?”
We may feature selected community submissions as part of our World Rainforest Day campaign.
If you’d prefer, you can also post your video directly on your own social channels and tag Rainforest Partnership so we can amplify your message.

Why This Matters
World Rainforest Day is not a commercial campaign. It is not monetized entertainment.
It is a mission-driven global movement built to raise awareness, inspire education, and create meaningful momentum for forest protection.
Rainforests and forest ecosystems continue to face extraordinary pressures—from deforestation and habitat destruction to climate instability and biodiversity loss. Awareness alone is not enough, but awareness is often where action begins.
Every conversation matters.
Every shared post matters.
Every story matters.
And every person who chooses to speak up helps strengthen the movement.
Support the Work Behind the Movement
World Rainforest Day is made possible by the dedicated Rainforest Partnership team and the broader community that believes this work matters.
If you’re in a position to support us financially, we welcome donations of any size to help sustain this campaign and our year-round conservation efforts.
Your support helps us continue creating educational resources, mobilizing communities, and protecting tropical forests through long-term partnerships.

A Personal Invitation
