Music for the Forest

We have wonderful news that we want to share with you!

Rainforest Partnership in collaboration with JM International invites you to be part of the first edition of Music for the Forest, our international initiative that brings together artists from all over the world to showcase the beauty, importance, threats, and challenges of forests through the power of original musical pieces.

We want to use the power of music to inspire, awaken and spread joy, with rhythms of hope to generate a space of understanding and connection with our planet's forests.

This is one of the official events of World Rainforest Day, to be held on June 22.

If you are a professional or amateur musician, over 15 years old, this is your chance!

All you need to do is submit your original song, regardless of musical genre or language, through the Mubazar platform.

The song can be in video format or just audio recording. Make sure it is in the best possible quality and if it is in video format, make sure it is recorded horizontally.

The selected songs will make up the official WDR playlist and will be streamed during the Global Summit. They will also have the chance to be featured on future Rainforest Partnership events and audiovisual content and partner programs getting your message to a broader audience.

The submissions will be open until June 10. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at music@rainforestpartnership.org.

Also, remember to stay tuned and celebrate with us the second annual World Rainforest Day Summit!

More than 40 organizations from around the world will be exploring the solutions in play for rainforests today, from every single angle.

The Summit is FREE & OPEN TO ALL! Registration opens on June 2nd!
