What we do
From the Tropical Andes to the Deep Amazon, to the coastal tropical forests of the Tumbes Choco-Magdalena Biodiversity Hotspot, the Maya Forest on the Yucatan Peninsula, our headquarters in Austin, Texas, to the countless places around the world touched by our global programs-- our mosaic of holistic projects sows the seeds of long-lasting abundance, for people and forests, in some of the most critical places on Earth for biodiversity and climate.
Why Rainforest Partnership?
We create high-impact, low-cost, people-powered solutions, targeting root causes of deforestation, both locally and globally.
Hyper-focused on impact, rooted in trust relationships and respect, bolstered by authentic partnership at both the community and global scales. Honest, transparent, collaborative to our core--in one word, Rainforest Partnership is what we are all looking for in climate solutions and conservation: real.
Real results. Real change for people on the ground. Real opportunities for anyone and everyone around the world to play their most strategic role. Real hope and real action you can see, taste, touch, and be a part of.

1,324,485 acres of rainforest conserved and better protected
Partnerships on the ground:

5 protected areas
3 regional governments in Peru

550,612 people directly involved and impacted in our on-the-ground work
Our unique approach
The survival of the world's rainforests is dependent on our actions as a global community.
From discovering new species in little-explored areas of the Tropical Andes to crafting strong conservation policy alongside regional governments, to supporting community-led agroforestry or handicrafts enterprises to build economic resilience, to supporting land titling for local and indigenous people, our fascinating, tangible, meaningful work on the ground creates real results for forests and communities, local and global alike.
We are guided by these foundational pillars to create abundance for the communities, our partners, and the world.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
We design our projects to be resilient, forward-thinking, and grounded both in local leadership and in global strategy on forest protection, climate mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and the development of just and
sustainable economies.
These are the UN SDGs that our work fulfills.
